Custom VGA Planets Scenarios

Starfleet Battles: The Andromedan Invasion

This mod pays homage to the "STAR FLEET BATTLES" game series by the Amarillo Design Group, who also designed the original "FEDERATION AND EMPIRE" strategy board game.  Both games are set in the Star Trek universe during the original series era.

STAR FLEET BATTLES (SFB) is a smaller mod intended for "start-from-scratch" games, using only modified race and ship data. While most of the races and ships are similar to FEDEMP, they are designed with stand-alone play in mind.  The races included are, in order:  Fed, Gorn, Romulan, Klingon, Orion, Andromedan, Tholian, Lyran, I.S.C., Hydran, and Kzin.

Star Fleet Battles: The Arena
Winner of the Circus-Maximus.com 2006 Scenario Design Contest.

SFB Arena pits 8 players against each other in a tournament.  There are three elimination or "conflict" stages to the tournament in a map separated into 4 distinct clusters.

Tied in with the Arena Tournament is the "Evolution" concept.  Using a specially tailored Star Fleet Battles shipslist, each player starts with a limited number of ships available to build.  At later stages in the game, more ships are added to each players build queue.

Klingon Civil War
Winner of the Circus-Maximus.com 2005 Scenario Design Contest.

The Klingon Civil War is a ten-player scenario set in the Star Trek universe during the Next Generation / Deep Space Nine Era. As a player in this scenario, you lead one of one of the ten factions vying for leadership of the High Council - and control of the Klingon Empire.

At the start of the game, the Civil War has just begun and fighting has already broken out across the Empire. Smaller houses and factions have aligned themselves with each of the player races, and have committed their worlds and ships to the players cause. As a result, each player has several small starting fleets and somewhat dispersed territory within the divided empire.
